Why does the label not indicate that Simply Flower Power may be used for arthritic conditions?
For a product to be be labelled as an arthritic product, it has to classed as a therapeutic product and contain subtances that the Therapeutic Goods Administration (T.G.A.) recognizes as relieving arthritis based on medical literature. Simply Flower Power relies largely on a uniquely developed formula of flower essences, plus the addition of St John's Wort in homeopathic form, for the pain relief. As this formula is a creation of Dr Jessica Read, there is no documentation covering it in the medical literature. Hence the Therapeutic Goods Adminstration decided that Simply Flower Power could not be Listed as a Therapeutic Product. It is classed as a Cosmetic and as such cannot make therapeutic claims.
A therapeutic claim is a statement to the effect that a product is deemed to relieve/treat diagnosable conditions. Arthritis is a diagnosable condtions, as are specific muscular strains, Repetitive Strain Injuy, Carpal Tunnel syndrome, Rheumatism, etc
Client use of this cream in diagnosable conditions since 2003, when Simply Flower Power first came onto the open market, and many case studies prior to this, show without any doubt that such conditions respond remarkably well and often in an astonishing manner, to applications of Simply Flower Power. Word of mouth has spread the news and continues to do so, while the label still only indicates that the cream can be used for general aches and pains. Rules have to be obeyed and the cream spreads its own healing powers nevertheless!
