Simply Flower Power Pain Relief Cream contains a formula of twelve flower essences made specifically for this product. The flower were chosen for their depiction of the emotional states present in trauma situations , such as fear, anguish, sadness, anger, confusion, out of body feelings, exhaustion.
" Flower remedies contain the healing properties of particular flower essences in liquid form. They are completely natural and are made from specially selected flowers that are picked at a time in their blooming when their healing power is greatest," writes Mark Wells, author of Flower Remedies, Feel better naturally (published by Lothian books). "They are usually taken orally as drops", he continues. "They (people taking the flower remedies) experience a higher level of well-being, their mind is clearer and they gain a new lease on life".
The thinking of the creator of Simply Flower Power Pain Relief Cream was that physical pain may well be an expression of emotional pain or unhappiness . Applying flower essences, which address emotional pain in people, directly to a site of physical discomfort , may well alleviate the physical pain. To apply the flower essences directly to an area of pain, they were added to a natural cream base.
The flower essences used in Simply Flower Power Pain Relief Cream were all made on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A mixture of Natives (Australian) and European plants were used. The flowers were chosen from their location of growth, how they were growing and what they looked liked in colour and shape.
The Doctrine of Signatures which states that "a plant will help a condition that it resembles in some way" was followed. For instance, a plant used for the emotion of grief and sadness was a bluebell creeper (Sollya heterophyllia) with its drooping blue flower head. It was growing all over another plant, showing its need for support. The emotion the creator felt it depicted was that of sadness ("feeling blue"), overwhelm, and the need for the support of others in a time of trauma.
Another plant used for the feeling of being in need of energy to survive in difficult conditions was a pink pig face (Carpobrotus rosii karkalla) with a small flower head. This plant was growing on the side of a cliff, subjected to wind and sea air, with barely enough soil to dig its roots into. Its thick leaves contained a gelatinous substance, allowing it to survive with little water. This plant was definitely surviving in harsh conditions! So its energy may well help other do the same.
The concentration of each of the twelve flower essences varies making the end formula a totally unique mixture of essences, just right for addressing a broad range of painful conditions.
