Dr Read started making her own flower essences twenty years ago. Her first formula of flower essences was used in Nature's Remedy First Aid Cream, a product which developed a huge and loyal following throughout Australia.

When leaving Nature's Remedy in the late 1990's, Dr Read vowed to develop an even better product based on the same principles of using flower remedies to alleviate emotional pain in cells. Dr Read's interest in making pain relieving creams containing flower essences began with a desire to help her chiropractic patients , a goal that was achieved quite soon. Her creams proved able to alleviate muscular and joint aches and pains, as well as helping support her chiropractic adjustments . After years of research and testing, it eventually became evident that these formulas for pain relief helped many kinds of pain other than those encountered in her clinic and so they were made available to the general
public.

The addition of the homeopathic ingredient, St John's Wort (Hypericum Perforatum 6x) , has further increased the potency of the cream.

Dr Read specifically wanted to create a pain relief cream that would also be good for the skin and could be used as a skin care cream even if no pain was present. This was achieved by using a high quality moisturising cream as a base, the Flower Essences and Homeopathics creating an added feeling of relaxation and well-being in the skin.
